Jason has lived and painted in many places, including: New York City, Philadelphia and San Francisco; New Orleans, Paris, & Prague.

He took some time off from the brush to study literature and to write a couple of (so far) unpublished novels.

In 2022, he was sitting in a hospital bed after a cancer-related surgery, not yet sure of the results, and a thought came: start oil painting again! A month later he found a new studio (and received a cancer-free diagnosis), and using palette knives, began to generate highly textural pieces to showcase his love for this beautiful planet, and his internal yearning for non-dual consciousness. Since those are lofty goals, he will settle for doing his best to make art that adds more beauty to the world. 

He has a degree in Literature from UC Santa Cruz. His artwork has been exhibited in New York City, Philadelphia, San Francisco, and Santa Cruz, California- where he currently lives.
